Methi Bhaji Recipe | Maharashtrian Methi Chi Bhaji
Methi chi bhaji or methi sabji very easy and healthy vegetable. We can make methi chi bhaji in several ways. I made a dry methi sabji with onion and tomato for this recipe.
Firstly, pulk the methi leaves and wash them under running water in a large strainer.
Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a kadhai, add cumin and mustard seeds to it. Once cumin and mustard seeds start crackling, add finely chopped onion, chopped garlic cloves and salt to taste in it. Mix it well.
Let it cook until the onion turns golden.
Now add chopped tomato to it. Mix it well and let it cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
Add 1 & ½ teaspoon of red chili powder to it. mix it and cook for a minute. You can replace red chili powder with chopped green chilies.
Add washed methi leaves to it and mix it. Cover it and cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
After 10 minutes mix it. Turn off the flame. Serve methi sabji with chapati or bhakri.
