White Sauce Pasta Recipe

White sauce pasta or Béchamel Sauce Pasta is a very easy, tasty, and popular recipe. To make a perfect white sauce pasta recipe, our white sauce must be perfect. White sauce is a base and a key element of this recipe.

Ingredients
  

For White Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk

For Boiling Pasta:

  • 2 cups pasta
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • ½ tablespoon oil

For White Sauce Pasta Recipe :

  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • ¼ cup Capsicum [chopped]
  • ¼ cup Carrot [chopped]
  • 2 tablespoons Boiled corn
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

White Sauce Recipe [Making White Sauce]:

  • Add butter to a pan. Add all-purpose flour in it, and stir continuously on low flame.
  • Cook the mixture until it becomes foamy & starts to change color while bubbling.
  • Add milk slowly in small batches to it, and stir continuously to avoid lumps formation. Don’t use warm milk for making white sauce.
  • Now let it cook on low flame, and stir occasionally. Until it becomes creamy and thick enough to coat on pasta.
  • Now turn off the flame and transfer the white sauce to a bowl. Keep it aside.

Boiling pasta:

  • Boil the 6 cups of water. Add ½ tablespoon of salt and ½ tablespoon of oil in it. Now, Add pasta to the boiling water.
  • Cook the pasta on medium flame. Don’t cook it completely, it should be a little undercook. As we are going to cook it again with white sauce.
  • Now, transfer the boiled pasta to a strainer and keep it aside.

Making White Sauce Pasta or Béchamel Sauce Pasta:

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add chopped capsicum, carrot, and boiled corn to it. And saute it on a medium-high flame until it becomes tender and a little crunchy. Add salt as per taste and mix well.
  • Add boiled pasta to the vegetables, and give it a good mix.
  • Finally, add white sauce to it. And mix vegetables and pasta with white sauce. If the consistency of the sauce is very thick at this stage, then add 2-3 tablespoons of water to it.
  • Combine it well and serve the hot pasta.
