Veg Fried Rice Recipe

Veg fried rice recipe is a very easy, classic, and healthy rice recipe. It is a Chinese dish made up of finely chopped vegetables, cooked rice, and tempting sauces. To make this vegan rice recipe we have to just stir-fry vegetables with cooked rice and sauces.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Basmati rice
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Onion large
  • 2 Green chili
  • ¼ cup Carrot chopped
  • ¼ cup French beans chopped
  • ½ cup Cabbage chopped
  • ½ cup Capsicum chopped
  • ¼ cup spring onion chopped
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook basmati rice according to the instructions on the packet. I use the slow cooking method to cook rice and added salt to rice while cooking. Once the rice is ready spread it on a large plate to cool down.
  • Wash and pat dry all the vegetables. Chop them finely.
  • Now, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan or kadhai. Add finely chopped garlic, green chili, and onion to it. If green chili is very spicy, we can cut it into large pieces, as we can remove it later.
  • Saute it for a minute on high flame.
  • Now, add chopped carrots, french beans, cabbage, and capsicum to it. Also, add salt to taste and mix it well. Don’t add spring onion at this stage.
  • Saute the vegetables on high flame until they become tender yet crunchy. It takes approximately 5-6 minutes. Stir them occasionally.
  • Add 4 tablespoons of soy sauce to it. Mix it well and cook for a minute.
  • Now add cooked rice to it. And mix with all the vegetables well.
  • Add chopped spring onion to it. Give it a good mix gently.
  • Turn the flame to low. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot Chinese Veg Fried Rice.
