Tomato Soup Recipe
Homemade Tomato soup is an easy, quick, and healthy soup recipe. Making a restaurant-style tomato soup recipe at home is very simple. This creamy tomato soup recipe contains fresh tomatoes, spices, and a very basic white sauce.

Making tomato puree: 4 Tomato medium ¼ Beetroot small 1 Onion medium 3 black pepper 1 inch cinnamon 1 tablespoon Oil salt to taste Making soup: 1 tablespoon Butter ½ tablespoon all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon sugar
Making tomato puree: Wash and pat dry the tomatoes. Cut each tomato into 4 parts. Also, peel the beetroot slice.
Heat a tablespoon of oil in the pan. Add chopped onion, black pepper, and cinnamon to it.
Saute it on medium flame until the onion turns light pink.
Now add tomatoes, beetroot, and ½ tablespoon of salt to it. Mix it well and cook for a minute.
Add 1 & ½ cups of water to it. cover and cook until tomatoes will cook and become mushy, it takes around 8 minutes.
Let it cool completely.
Now transfer the cooked tomatoes to a grinder jar and grind them into a smooth tomato puree. Keep it aside.
Making tomato soup: Heat a pan. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and ½ tablespoon of all-purpose flour to it. And stir continuously on low flame.
Cook the mixture until it becomes foamy and starts to change color while bubbling.
Now add ½ cup of water to it. And stir continuously to avoid lumps formation.
let it cook on low flame, and stir occasionally. Until it becomes creamy and thick.
Now add ground tomato puree to it.
Mix it well. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 cup of water into it to adjust the consistency of the tomato soup.
Cook it on low flame until it boils. Taste it and add salt if required. Serve the hot tomato soup with the tasty veg sandwich.
Use fresh, ripe, and red tomatoes for the perfect tomato soup recipe.
Add 1 small carrot while cooking tomatoes to make a tomato carrot soup recipe.
I added a piece of beetroot to give tempting color to the soup. We can skip beetroot if not available.
