Homemade Thick Curd

Homemade thick curd is an easy recipe to make fresh curd at home. We need only 2 ingredients for this creamy curd making process. We need full-fat milk and a small amount of starter curd to make fresh dahi.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ liter full-fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh curd

Instructions
 

  • Pour the milk into a pot and boil it. Do not use milk without boiling to make curd.
  • Once the milk is boiled, let it simmer for 5 minutes on low flame. It helps to add thickness to curd.
  • Let it cool down. Lukewarm milk also works for making curd. Now, add a tablespoon of fresh curd into it. And mix it well.
  • Cover it with a lid and let it set for around 8 hours or overnight. In winter, curd making process may take more time.
  • After 8 hours our fresh homemade curd is ready. You can store it in the refrigerator for a few hours before using it.
