Methi chi bhaji | methi sabji very easy and healthy vegetable. We can make methi chi bhaji in several ways. I made a dry methi sabji with onion and tomato for this recipe. To make methi bhaji, we need fenugreek [methi] leaves. I buy a fresh bunch of methi from the market and pulk methi leaves at home. We can buy a readymade methi leaves pack as well.

- 1 bunch Methi sabji [medium-sized]
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 Onion [large]
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 Tomato [medium]
- 1 ½ teaspoon Red chili powder
- 3 tablespoon Oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Firstly, pulk the methi leaves and wash them under running water in a large strainer.
- Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a kadhai, add cumin and mustard seeds to it. Once cumin and mustard seeds start crackling, add finely chopped onion, chopped garlic cloves and salt to taste in it. Mix it well.
- Let it cook until the onion turns golden.
- Now add chopped tomato to it. Mix it well and let it cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add 1 & ½ teaspoon of red chili powder to it. mix it and cook for a minute. You can replace red chili powder with chopped green chilies.
- Add washed methi leaves to it and mix it. Cover it and cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
- After 10 minutes mix it. Turn off the flame. Serve methi sabji with chapati or bhakri.
