Pomegranate juice is one of the refreshing and antioxidant juice. A glass of pomegranate juice provides a lot of health benefits. We can make juices in the mid-morning or during breakfast time.
Wash the pomegranates. Cut the top crown-like portion of pomegranate.
Make 4 shallow cuts on pomegranate. And separate each part by pulling with fingers.
To avoid stains, take a large and deep bowl to deseed the pomegranates. Deseed each part of the pomegranate using fingers. Remove all white and yellow membranes as well.
We can deseed pomegranates on a prior day or in our free time and store them in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
Pomegranate juice using grinder:
To make fresh pomegranate juice, transfer pomegranate arils to a grinder jar.
Grind them. There is no need to add water while grinding pomegranate arils.
Pour the juice through a large strainer, use a spoon to extract extra juice from the strainer.
Transfer it to a glass and enjoy fresh pomegranate juice.
Using juicer:
Add pomegranate arils to a juicer feeder and run the juicer.
Pour the juice into a glass and enjoy the juice.
Notes
Variations:
Pomegranate-apple juice and pomegranate-pear juice are my favorite variations to a pomegranate juice.
While making any variation with apple juice, I prefer to use a juicer, as apple juice turns dark with time.
