Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in the pan. Add a teaspoon of cumin seeds to it. Once cumin seeds start crackling add chopped onion to it.
Once the onion turns translucent, add 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste to it. Saute it for a minute.
Now, add chopped tomato to it and cook it until the tomato becomes mushy.
Add 2 teaspoons of red chili powder, 1 teaspoon of garam masala, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder and a teaspoon of crushed kasuri methi.
Mix it well and saute for a minute on low flame.
Now, add crumbled paneer and salt to it. And, combine it well with the help of a spatula.
Add finely chopped coriander and cook it for a couple of minutes.
Turn off the flame and serve hot paneer bhurji with soft chapati.
