Once they turn light brown and start crackling. transfer them into a plate and let them cool completely. Roasting til takes around 5-7 minutes.
In the same pan, add 1/4 th cup of peanuts and dry roast them until small brown spots appear on them. Let them cool completely.
Now, add roasted peanuts and 1&1/4th cup of grated jaggery in a grinder jar. The quantity of jaggery will be the same as the total quantity of til and peanuts. Always use chikki gud for this recipe.
Grind it for a minute. Then add roasted til to the ground peanut and gud.
Run the grinder on pulse mode 3-4 times. Now, add 4 large tablespoons of ghee to it and again grind it on pulse mode 2-3 times.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Grease your hand with ghee and mix it by mashing it slightly.
Now, take a spoonful of mixture on your palm and give it a round, shape. Make all til gud laddu in the same way.
If your mixture is not taking a round shape easily, then add a little ghee and gud for binding. Using chikki gud for this recipe helps to bind the til gud laddu easily.
