Egg Omelette Recipe

An egg omelet is a basic breakfast dish, which is famous in almost every region. There are a lot of variations we can make with different combinations of vegetables in egg omelets. Egg omelet is a very easy and quick recipe, which gets ready in minutes. 

An egg is a good source of proteins. Having protein rich omelet with roasted bread is best for busy morning breakfast. I am sharing the basic masala omelet recipe with step-by-step pictures below.

Egg Omelette

An egg omelet is a basic breakfast dish, which is famous in almost every region. There are a lot of variations we can make with different combinations of vegetables in egg omelets.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg
  • ½ chopped onion [small]
  • 1 green chili
  • ½ chopped tomato [small]
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Break an egg in a bowl, and add 2 pinch of salt to it. Mix and beat it with the help of a fork.
  • Heat a pan and add butter to it. Once the butter is melted add 1/4 tablespoon of cumin seeds, chopped onion and chili to it. Also, add a little salt and saute it until onion becomes translucent.
  • Now add chopped tomato to it and saute it for a minute.
  • Once the tomato becomes mushy, spread the sauteed ingredients on a pan and add the egg mixture to it. Spread it evenly.
  • Let it cook on a low flame. Flip and roast it from both sides.
  • Serve the hot omelet with bread or chapati.

How To Make Egg Omelet
