Quick Paneer Bhurji Recipe

Paneer bhurji is an Indian dish prepared with crumbled paneer, herbs and spices. It is a very easy and quick recipe for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 100 grams paneer [crumbled]
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 onion
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon kasuri methi.
  • salt to taste
  • handful coriander leaves

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in the pan. Add a teaspoon of cumin seeds to it. Once cumin seeds start crackling add chopped onion to it.
  • Once the onion turns translucent, add 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste to it. Saute it for a minute.
  • Now, add chopped tomato to it and cook it until the tomato becomes mushy.
  • Add 2 teaspoons of red chili powder, 1 teaspoon of garam masala, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder and a teaspoon of crushed kasuri methi.
  • Mix it well and saute for a minute on low flame.
  • Now, add crumbled paneer and salt to it. And, combine it well with the help of a spatula.
  • Add finely chopped coriander and cook it for a couple of minutes.
  • Turn off the flame and serve hot paneer bhurji with soft chapati.
