Cut the bread slices into a triangular shape as shown below. You can also cut it into a rectangular shape.
In a wide bowl, take 5 tablespoons of gram flour. Add half a teaspoon of carom seeds, 3 finely chopped chilies, finely chopped garlic cloves, turmeric powder and finely chopped coriander to it.
Add salt to taste and make a batter by adding small parts of water. The batter should be thick enough to coat on bread slice easily.
Heat the oil in a pan for shallow frying bread pakora. Now dip the bread slice in that batter and coat it properly from both sides.
Immediately transfer the coated bread slices to the pan. Fry 2 or more bread pakoras at a time as per the size of your pan.
Flip it when the bottom side of the pakora turns golden and crispy. Fry it from both sides by flipping.
Transfer the fried bread pakoras to the kitchen paper to soak excess oil. Fry all the pakoras as above. And serve hot pakoras with ketchup.
