Ingredients

  • 14 flat puris
  • 1 cup thick curd [sweetened]
  • 1 potato [boiled]
  • 1 onion [finely chopped]
  • 1 tomato [finely chopped]
  • 2-3 tablespoons green chutney [Mint & chili chutney]
  • 1/2 cup nylon şev
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  • Peel and cut the boiled potato into medium-sized pieces. Also, chop the onion and tomato finely. Keep it aside.
  • Now, take a serving plate and arrange the puris in it according to the size of the plate. I am using ready-to-fry puris here. Gently make a hole on the top surface of each puri using your thumb.
  • Add 2-3 pieces of boiled potato in each puri.
  • Now, add finely chopped onion pieces to each puri.
  • Add green spicy chutney after onion. To make green chutney, grind green chilies, coriander and mint leaves together by adding a little water.
  • Then add around 1/2 tablespoon of sweet curd to each puri. Curd use in dahi puri should be thick. Also, add sugar to it and mix it properly before making dahi puri.
  • Add a little nylon sev in each puri. Again add 1/2 tablespoon of sweet curd to each puri.
  • Lastly add ample nylon sev on it. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve homemade dahi puri.
