  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon carom seeds
  • oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions

How To Make Palak Paratha:

    Making Dough With Spinach:

    • Clean and wash the spinach properly. Drain the water and transfer it to a grinder jar. We can add green chilies here. I am using red chili powder for this recipe.
    • Grind the palak into a smooth paste. Add 1/4 cup of water to it, if required.
    • Now take 1 cup of wheat flour in a wide bowl. Add spinach paste to it. Also add 2 teaspoons of red chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of carom seeds and salt to taste.
    • Knead the dough without adding water. If required add some wheat flour and knead it by adding a tablespoon of oil.
    • Rest the dough for 10-15 minutes.

    Making Palak Paratha:

    • After 15 minutes knead the dough again for a minute and divide, it into medium-sized dough balls.
    • Now take a dough ball, dust it with dry flour and start rolling it using a rolling pin.
    • Roll the palak paratha uniformly in a round shape.
    • Now transfer it to a hot pan. Roast it on a medium flame until the base of the paratha is semi-cooked.
    • Flip and roast the palak paratha from both sides by applying oil or ghee.
    • Make all the parathas as above and serve the tasty palak paratha with peanut chutney.
