Easy Paneer Potato Balls

Paneer potato ball is an easy and super delicious snack recipe. It is a deep-fried snack made up of crumbled paneer and mashed potatoes with some spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 100 grams paneer
  • 1 large potato [boiled]
  • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chat masala
  • salt to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons rice flour
  • oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Grate the paneer or crumble it properly with the help of fingers in a wide bowl.
  • Take a large boiled potato. Peel and mash it. Add it to the crumbled paneer.
  • Now add 2 teaspoons of red chili powder, 1 teaspoon of garam masala, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder, half a teaspoon of chat masala, half a teaspoon of red chili flakes and salt to it. You can adjust the spices according to your choice.
  • Mix it properly with the help of fingers or a fork.
  • Now, add 2-3 tablespoons of rice flour to it and mix well.
  • Grease your palm with oil or butter, take a spoonful of paneer potato mixture and give it a round shape as shown below.
  • Make all the paneer balls as above. Now paneer potato balls are ready to fry. Keep them aside.
  • Take a tablespoon of rice flour or corn flour in a small bowl. Make a thick paste from it by adding a little water to it.
  • Dip the ready-to-fry paneer ball in the above mixture and coat it properly.
  • Then coat it with dry rice flour or breadcrumbs.
  • Heat the oil in a pan. And, fry the paneer potato balls on medium flame until it turns golden crispy from all sides.
  • Serve the hot homemade paneer potato balls with tomato ketchup.
